If the furniture is in good condition call Neerlee New furnishings at 352-315-1000. They will come & look at the furniture and give you a price if they are interested.

I called Bargains and Treasures and ended up with more money in my pocket, even after their cut, then what I was trying to get on TOTV. They are picky so don't bother if it isn't in very good condition.

Bargains and Treasures in Oxford take furniture on consignment. But they only take good quality furniture in excellent condition. There's always the garage sale option. Or Craigs List.

I have had a similar experience that you have (slightly ) different. We had two beautiful framed art pieces that we could not sell on TOTV. So we turned to " Blessed & Grateful " as opposed to others who have been recommend. Blessed & Grateful included them in there estate sale and both sold at higher than our Expectations !!
Honestly they Poppy & Sean Donnelly are truly Honest, Hardworking, Trusting, Reliable, and I highly recommend them. Give them a call 352-217-5801 , they are Village residents. |

I am an author and one of my books is on how to sell on Craigslist. It is very easy to sell your furniture and other goods on there if you price them right and post good photos. I have made thousands of dollars on Craigslist as I clear my clutter downsizing.
Another option if you are a member of Facebook is to put your area + yard sale in the search field. This should pull up yard sale communities in your area and the surrounding area. You can request to be a member and once your membership is approved, sell your goods there (including furniture). It can be a little more personal than Craigslist as most people have profiles etc. Just be sure to take precautions. And always accept cash only. |

Bargains and Trasures, Neerly New and Almost Perfect are three options.
The fourth option is to call the Salvation Army for a pick-up, and donate it to the needy.
