Default Advantages of Marion County???

We are finally planning on purchasing in TV this year for full time life style upgrade. We know one advantage in Lake County is no bond, but is there any tax or other advantage to Marion County over Sumter? Thank you in advance.

One very important reason we bought in Marion County is that it is much less crowded and quiet this time of year. We can get to LSL or SS in 20 minutes by golf cart and BW in 50. But we can get OUT of TV in 2 minutes which important to us because we do plenty of things off the compound.

Peace & quiet, often bonds are paid off or have low balances, less traffic, close proximity to Publix, gas station, bank, etc. mature landscaping & trees, etc.

Marion, Sumter, Lake, all areas are just beautiful and well maintained. All areas have a mix of size and style and price of homes and are pretty close to shopping..............And almost everyone thinks THEIR village is the best.

I agree. I looked at homes all over TV at different times of the year before I bought. Marion county was much quieter and less hectic.

I think are many advantages to marion county with many houses have little or no bond and landscaping matured plus i think comparable house are a little cheaper than further south. If you golf off the compound del webb and spruce creek just a short drive and lopez and glenview very close.

They have addresses that are different than the other counties i.e. 12345 SE 789th Billybath Lane. I can find Billybath lane but not sure about 12345 SE 789th!

I know the idea behind the address but........

All joking aside, there are some very nice properties in Marion County portion of TV. Lower bond and less traffic are certainly a plus and It is a beautiful area of TV with some of the best golf courses. I like the recreation trail that runs thru Nancy Lopez's. VA clinic is close by too. Something for everyone to like here in TV.

Love Marion a County! When we bought almost 12 years ago I thought it was so far out. That quickly changed! Love the location and ease of getting around.
