Default Golf cart rental

Are there rental services to be avoided/ recommended. Are the prices different in different seasons? Friends rented one for almost half of price I am being quoted, they rented in oct I need one end of march.

The answer is yes. Higher prices for everything January to March. Also cheaper by the month vs week or day. I decent bench mark is $20 to $25 a day, $100 to $140 a week and $250 to $350 for a month. The low end would be summer and the high end winter.

The hard part will find anything decent anytime in March. Most good rental companies will only rent for the month during the high season -- too much demand and not enough time to be able to help out those who need short-term rentals. The Villages Golf Carts nearly always have rentals available but the rental price is on the high side, the carts are slower than Maine molasses in winter and probably won't have sunbrella enclosures. Good luck!

check out Grandpa and Grandma's. ( G+G village buggies maybe?)
Anyway, we have rented from them twice now. Great carts, great prices. We will go to them when we are ready to purchase. Scott runs a great company.
We paid $107 for a week Feb 12-19. This was for a convertible cart which has the drop down back seat for two. It was cheaper in Oct, but don't recall the price.
T would recommend them to anyone!

The rates do go down on the long-term rentals.

I recommend Cunningham. We rent from them all the time. So does my sister. Delivery and Pick-up service.

Please stay away from 1st Cart Rental. Many residents have had issues with Marc. We were one of them.

We always rent from Scott of Grandma + Grandpa Village Buggies 352-552-8478

We've rented from Don Cunningham on more than one occasion (and have more scheduled!). Only wonderful experiences -- and besides that, he recently showed an extreme act of kindness toward our son (and his family) who recently returned from Afghanistan. A true gentleman and trusted businessman!!!
