Default What can I do?

My lawn keeps getting trashed by vehicles (trucks) who go off the paved road and across my lawn! Can't keep replacing the grass. These streets in the new sections are way too narrow!!!! What can I do?

I've seen poles put on corners. That might do the trick. If you go down Charlotte, turn on Oldsmar (sp?), first left and follow it around, you can seen an example at one of the corners. Another alternative is very large rocks/boulders. Have seen those as well. Of course, you could just wait until the construction is completed and then replace the lawn.

Gees, what a terrible problem! Maybe you could park your car there. Perhaps a bit risky if those truck drivers are soooooo sloppy, but I bet they would go around. This problem would make me GRUMPY.

It has happened to many a corner lot during the construction phase and I understand your chagrin. Call warranty and/or Community Watch and see what they can do, Maybe put up orange cones? I feel that they will fix your lawn.

This will pass. But not soon enough for you. I understand.

There is a property on Eisenhower Loop with the same problem. They have had very large rocks placed in the affected area. Expensive, but effective

This is the best job I've seen.

If you have a phone or a camera with a video camera, make a video. Then call the company. It's hard to argue with a video. Why do you think cops have dash cams?

My 2 cents.

There is a golf cart path cut through in the area of Glenview CC and the owners on both sides of the path have put large boulders on their corner because the golf carts just cut across the corner of their lawns instead of making a proper turn. Very effective.
