So where in The Villages can one find some great paczki (pronounced POONCH-key)? These are yeasted, fried pastries, filled with jelly, custard, crème, ect. that resemble a pillow and covered with powdered sugar.

I like the paczki at the Polish Deli in Leesburg. Its on hwy 441, just after hwy 27 splits away.
That's also where we buy fresh kielbasa, pierogi, and stuffed cabbage rolls. Mmmmm. |

No paczki at the polish deli. We called them a few weeks ago re Fat Tuesday and were told no.
Guess Publix is it even though not authentic. |

That's odd. Last year we bought some on Fat Tuesday. Prune or jelly. They were good. Maybe you have to wait until the day.

Good to know. Maybe they thought we meant the day we called.
Used to get them in a polish city in Detroit. Yum. |

I just saw them at Publix, never tried I picked up the box curious to see what they were. Very heavy. They must have a lot of filling in them. Will have to try!
