Default Mt. Dora a good place for lunch?

I am meeting some friends for lunch in Mt. Dora next week. I was wondering if anyone could please recommend a good place to have lunch where the food is good? I have never been there? Thank you.

Outside deck at Pisces Rising with a small view of the lake is our favorite.
Frog and Monkey for a burger and a beer. No view but quaint in a Cheers kind of way.

The Garden Gate Tea Room has wonderful food and it's lots of fun if your group is all ladies. You can try on their vintage hats while you're waiting for your meal to be served.

The Goblin....we ate there a year or so ago, when we still lived in Ohio...still talking about how good it was! Now that we are full time, this reminded me to put it on our list of outings....

Another vote for Goblin Market, love it and has the cutest (probably smallest) outside patio where you can eat al fresco.

Another vote for Garden Gate Tea Room. Adorable atmosphere and the food was fantastic. Great spot for a lady's lunch.

I was not impressed with Pisces Rising. Somewhat overpriced and not as much fun as Garden Gate.

Wish I could join you all.!!!!!

In my opinion, Goblin Market and Pisces Rising are BOTH over rated and way overpriced!

We like Pisces Rising for lunch or dinner. Great food and service however expect prices slightly higher than anywhere in TV.

We have been to Pisces Rising a few times. It can be good or bad. You may want to check what the specials are that day. http://www.piscesrisingdining.com/Menus.html

We also have been to The Lost Parrot twice. It is much more laid back and less expensive. These meals were both good. http://www.thelostparrotmtdora.com/#!menu-1/c18iz

Cococabana, great Cuban food, reasonable prices and outstanding mojitos, especially if you ask them to make them less sweet.
