Drove by The Church on the Square today and noticed the HUGE addition going up. Although it looks bleak and industrial looking, I know that it will eventually be up to TV standards, etc. Does anyone know where I can see an artist's rendition? When will it be completed?

Further to my original question....there must be permits filed, etc. I don't think someone can just build a building, especially that size, without permitting.

I imagine that it will house the same kinds of things that it did before; The Villages Philharmonic and The Village Voices for two. I also think that there is no reason for us to think it won't be lovely. Here is the link to the letter from Mark Morse some time ago. http://www.districtgov.org/images/wh...nterLetter.pdf

That is true everywhere, the pricey cost of the venue for civic theatre and local production companies. AND difficulties finding places to store stage equipment and costumes. And gathering a paying audience. And paying for the rights to perform plays, etc. etc.
