Default guest golf prices?

Hello, Our son is coming for a visit and he likes to golf. We have picked up the guest passes. How much will it cost for him to play golf? Was able to find the pricing for the harder courses but for the basic ones, I couldn't find info. We have a cart and he has clubs. Thanks for the info.

Contact any one of the executive courses(the basic ones)and they'll happily give you the info. A resident must be with him when he plays and get the "good golf guide"(free)for him as the executive courses have a few quirks compared to the championship courses. You can always stop by any of the starters shacks for all the info you need.

For the executive courses, $15 for a guest who rides in a resident's cart. I think it would be $4 less if he walks.

A person with a guest pass does NOT have to have a resident with him. It's $11 for the green fee, and $4 for the trail fee.

I'm sorry about that Bogie Shooter and others looking for the information. The link was the 2nd one you posted (golf the villages) which is also your link in post above this post. (Your link isn't working either). I would suggest that those interested in the link should copy/paste the link in the webpage address. The link I am speaking of is the second one in Bogie Shooter's above post.

I'm not sure I understand how this works. I read the golf guide, but....can we as guests, without the resident, make our own tee-time and play? We would have a cart so it seems like we would have to pay somewhere around $15.00 which is fine. I just want to be able to actually make the tee-time ourselves. We are coming down over Labor Day, having just returned from TV last weekend. We are in search of our forever home, with a little golf thrown in!

yes, you can do this. Info is available on golf the villages dot com (no spaces). If the link works, it would be golfthevillages.com

You can also print info on that site, or stop by a pro shop and pick up brochures that say the same thing. The workers may or may not know how it works.

Try calling the 753-GOLF phone number and listen carefully. If you have a resident guest card (the ones that cost $50 for 2 people), then you would use those numbers (golfer id and pin #). If you have a free guest card, you will need the owner's info (golfer ID and pin#), but yes, you can make a reservation without the owner playing with you. Just pay close attention when you call.

Thanks for the info. I did so well a week or so ago I am already looking forward to our next visit. We almost bought a house that trip but it didn't work out. Maybe next visit. For sure our target date for retirement is 8/8/15 but who's counting - ME.

After the exec. golf shack closes (now @ 6:45) U can go on for free & with a cart U can do 6-8 holes before it gets dark. Stop @ a shack & ask when they close. I did it tonight & got in 6 holes.
