People this happened to me today. Be aware of this scam. I got a phone
call from a man with a thick accent vlaiming to be from the IRS.
He told me my son was involved in a tax fraud and we had to settle
this matter of $2500.00 with in 45 minutes or he would be arrested.
if you go to the IRS web site and look for the newest warning scam it will show
you what I am talking about. Everything on this site is exactly what
this man was saying to me. Don't fall victim to this. It was a bit scarey at first
But then a red flag went ip in my head and i callef his bluff. There is also a place on the page to report this which I did. I can't imahine how msny people will fall for this. Just read the article please.

Did he know your name and your son's name?

They new my address and the place where my son worked.
Even the lcd screen on our phone said IRS on it. Pretty sophisticated.

Quick update people. I just tried the phone number I had to cslk this
so called IRS agent. Guess what? It's nlocked already. Big scam! GET THE INFORMATION FROM
IRS WEB SITE ON THIS. CALLED IRS WARNS OF PERVASIVE TELEPHONE SCAM.
