Default Low sodium suport group

If anyone is interested in forming a group to discuss low sodium lifestyle, please email me at saljimferg@gmail.com. Ideas and exchange of menus, recipes and where to find low sodium ingredients and just general support would be great help to anyone having to adapt to this much healthier lifestyle. My husband has congestive heart failure so his doctor put him on a restricted sodium diet. He quickly dropped 30 lbs and feels much better. Thanks!

I would definitely be interested in this support group. But, unfortunately I am still in Michigan and only get to The Villlages a couple of times a year for around two weeks.

We would be happy to include you in emails. Met today with another couple and we both learned about products and sources that will be helpful. We were surprised that there was only one other couple responded to the idea of forming a support group. Please let us hear from anyone interested in low sodium living.

Default it works

if you use a copper or zinc fork it fools your taste buds and gives you a increase salty sensation. Potassium is a good replacement for salt because it does not increase water retention or blood pressure. The excess is just processed through the kidneys with no adverse effects.
