There is a tortoise colored cat which has some white on her face which has recently appeared in our neighborhood. She looks well fed and healthy. Although I haven't been able to get real close to her she does not seem to be skittish like a feral cat. Has anybody lost their kitty? We are in the village of Rio Grande.

Tortie's are great cats - hope the owner is found real soon.

CFrance is right about putting out food. That is the only thing that worked for us when our Torie snuck out our patio door in St. Augustine and was gone for three days! Good luck catching the cat and finding the owner.

That tortie kitty is definitely a female and I hope she is spayed since she's roaming around.
Hopefully, the owners will read this and make their presence known. Enough residents read these posts also, and perhaps someone knows them and will let them know.

There was a lost cat advertised in the Daily Sun (Classified - Lost and Found 0142) on Sunday, March 23. It doesn't sound like the same description but I will mention it anyhow.
