Default 2013 Yamaha Gas - Greasing the clutch

I have a 2013 Yamaha Gas golf cart. I have noticed a grease (zerk) fitting on both the driven clutch and drive clutch. How often should these be greased and how much?

Thanks,
Gordy

I was told once per year and 1-2 pumps per clutch. Too much and it will cause belt slippage. Not sure if you have to use the special yamaha grease or just regular grease

If not greased will the clutch start to make a little squealing noise?

The new clutch with the gold cover, AND the older clutch with the gold cover you need to be careful. Most shops do not remove that cover and get rid of any excess grease-this extra grease then flings around inside the cover and would get on the rollers and or weights and cause the clutch to wear. This would lead to failure. So yes, it needs greased, but do yourself a favor and remove the cover and take out any grease that has gone past the shaft.
