My husband and I recently purchased a home in The Villages and we love it here. The only thing we did not love was the awful phone reception and the way we kept losing calls constantly, even if we were outside! I thought the only way to solve this problem was to get a land line which I did not want to do. I was about to try Magic Jack or something similar which I saw a product on Amazon.com that I thought would be worth trying first. I am going to type this product name in exactly as it is so that anyone interested can look for it on Amazon.com. This wonderful product is called Panasonic KX-TG7743 Link-to-Cell DECT 6.0 Plus Link to Cell Convergence Solution. I don't know HOW this works, I just know it DOES. This amazing phone links to your cell phone WITHOUT A LAND LINE. I am no longer losing calls, I can actually take calls INSIDE my home and the reception is great. Please share this thread with anyone you know who is having phone reception problems.
