Default Trying to get estimate-no call backs

I called 4 companies recommended on this site (3 today) 1 Friday--Absolutely no call backs! I missed one call- but not from a number I had called, with no message.

I am trying to have Seminole rock delivered and black paper placed with simple border---not a big job for now--but geesh! Poor customer service, hoping I hear something in the morning.

Sometimes these companies have no answering people, (keeps overhead down and your cost down too) and they may be very, very, booked. I know that isn't common courtesy but that doesn't mean they aren't good and successful at their trade and desirable.

Well- hoping for the best. We shall see---having received referrals to these companies, I would think a call back even after hours is okay if they have no answering service. I am going to give it another day and we shall see.

Tracey, I feel your pain. It can be a real problem. However, do keep in mind Friday was Good Friday, and today is Easter Monday.....holidays for a lot of businesses. Maybe tomorrow!!

I have a recommendation for you.

We used Zack at "Have Rock Will Roll" at 352-274-5635.
He is very affordable.
We picked out our rock at Dirt Cheap on CR 441 and then Zack handled it for us.
Dirt Cheap has an amazing amount of choices for rock!

P.S. I just called Zack to make sure he is still in business,
and he answered his cell phone.

Just called Zack- left a message...crossing my fingers for a call back.

I called Dirt Cheap, measured my landscape and figured I need about 8 tons of rock- I picked Seminole ...got the price of rock and delivery..about 1,000.

Spoke with a Nursery this am--told them how much rock I needed, weed protector and installed--they quoted my price approx. 5000-5500. I just can't see spending 4,000 plus on labor.

Maybe I should learn landscape work and give up nursing? Geesh!!

We were very pleased when Zack delivered rock for us.
He was recommended to me back in 2007 by a fellow TOTV member.
I think you'll like his prices.

Think we had this young man come and do our front-yard a year or so ago. VERY reasonable and right on it with his business. We picked out our rock at a place on 301 (don't remember the name), called Zack and he came with it in a trailer.
