Has anyone in The Villages purchased and are using Amazon Fire TV ?I am thinking about adding this to my smart TV and would like information as to how it works and is it worth the cost?

if you have a Smart TV you have the majority of the features that this has.

I just bought it a week ago. Hubby wanted to see all of our family photos on the TV. Loaded them on the cloud and now we can see them. It has lots of other features. If you go to the ad on Amazon.com and pull it up and scroll down you will see a comparison of features with the competitor companies that offer a similar item. It helped me decide. For the money the Amazon Fire TV offered the most features.

For $35 ( we paid $30) we have a little plug-in called Google Chromecast, we watch Netflex on our TV through it and can see all our photos on our TV through it So I guess it depends on what all you really need to do I do understand The Fire TV does more but for us this worked great.

Re: Tiger Baseball, yes, the Kindle Fire TV will allow you to stream the games from MLB TV, as long as you subscribe....$129.99 a year. You can do the same thing with Chromecast for just $35.00.
