Do you want some great Chinese food ??? You might not have ever tried this place but it has great Chinese food, huge portions and very reasonable prices. I think it is one of the best kept secrets in the Villages.
IT IS THE PANDA EXPRESS NEAR HOME DEPOT ON RTE. 441 It has a open kitchen amosphere, so it is easy to determine the very clean food prep area. They have inside, outside and crry out dining. Service is great. ASt least once a week my wife and I share the three entree selection, this is ample food for two people and only cost $8.64 including tax. ![]() |

Good value and will do in a pinch, better than a lot of Chinese food in the area but I would hardly call it "good" Chinese. That said I guess I am spoiled growing up in Chicago I had awesome "real" Chinese food the way it should be made.

We agree Warren! Me and my wife eat there weekly when in TV. We do the same thing and share a 3 entre' plate and it is plenty of food for both of us. The Bejing Beef, Orange Chicken and Beef and string beans are awesome. Great Lo Mein also! Getting hungry just writing this post!

My grandkids love it, so I tried it and didn't like it. In my opinion, the orange chicken at Cheng's is much better.

Wow Boggyone! You must be the Supreme Authority on Chinese food with a comment like that! Believe it or not SOME other people may actually LIKE their food classified as Gourmet Chinese. I agree it may not be the BEST Chinese food I have ever eaten I but it is always fresh, tastes great (to some) and they give good portions for the price paid! Maybe you should try it again? When was the last time you ate there? Very tasty food (but of course that is just our opinion) which we are entitled to!

Yes, portions are large but large portions of bad tasting food does not make it good. Yes, you are definitely entitled to your opinion on any restaurant - just as I am entitled to mine. If you want absolutely great Asian food, try X'ia Shou in Miami. It is a favorite place of mine whenever beginning or ending a cruise. |
