Default It's really stormy here....

in my part of Caroline. HEAVY rain, wind, lightning and thunder. Kept watching the web cams to see the direction the storm clouds were heading. Took quite a while to get to LSL and I'm fairly close. Last I looked, it was starting to storm at SS. Brownwood camera not showing pics right now for me.
What's the weather like where you are in TV?

That odd, it's sunny here.
And that's only 1000 miles away.

Hadley has had a welcome downpour for the last 45 minutes or so. Lightening and thunder but also much needed rain. Can't believe how after just 2 days of no rain and the high temperatures we've had everything was starting to stress. I think the Florida afternoon showers are God's way to give everything a break from scorching in the sun all day!

Still a lot of electrical activity in my area. Looking at radar, more heavy rain could arrive soon ...unless things have changed since I looked a little bit ago.
We do need the rain, just wish the lightning would abate.

"When thunder roars, go indoors," - good advice, Joe....

I love the lightning and the thunder. As long as we don't lose the electricity!

Horrible storm!!! We're in Springdale, we have lightening rods and whole house surge protection and surge protectors on everything. We took at least one hit! Scared me to death!. We have power and house thank God is still standing but palm tree next to house took a hit possibly another also. Garage door out, main cable box out but TV ok, guest bedroom tv gone and air compressor for our old Select Comfort bed not working, Power cord for this laptop gone luckily I had unplugged it from my Mac.... land line with Comcast out (oh yea Comcast can't come till Weds.!!!) Tomorrow we'll check for further damage. House is standing and were ok but this really shook me up!

That's awful!

Not much of an endorsement for lightening rods and surge protectors!

You might find Comcast comes back on without a visit to your house. Probably not related to just your home. Same thing happened to us about 4 weeks ago. Came back up after 8 hours or so.

Default Last night's storm was a doozy.

Visited friends in Sanibel. Rumbled and lightninged all the way home. Only one other time have I seen absolutely continued and uninterrupted lightning and thunder without any pause in between here for more than an hour. It was a real electric event.

Russ, just imagine if she didn't have lightning rods.
