Happy Horse Rescue Farm

will have its semi-annual open house this weekend at their ranch in Weirsdale.


Proceeds will benefit the farm for their rescue and rehabilitation of abused and abandoned horses. Please see below for details:

Kathie, is there a website? I wanted to forward a website to my SIL. Her 11 year old granddaughter is down and there were talking about finding a place to go horseback riding while she's here. Thanks, BK

No, BK, I don't think it was ever completed. That's on the "to do" list. But they do have a facebook page, but if your SIL's g'daughter wants to go riding, just have them call the number on this thread,,, 352 626 1908, Patrick Atkinson is the person to talk to and tell him TOTV recommended them and he will help make the arrangements. Maybe she would like to go riding that day? You can call and ask if he's having rides that day, not sure because everyone at the farm will be busy with the open house, but they might go the day before or after. Call him and ask. He's really a nice guy.
