Default interesting board --- city-data.com

Disclaimer, I love the TOTV board and visit it daily (often several times but not quite like KathieI - :#1: ), TOTV rocks.

Anyway, http://www.city-data.com/ is a very interesting board if you want to read a similar type board as TOTV for states/cities nationwide and specific topics (real estate, politics, etc). I've gleaned a lot of other Florida info from it in researching other 55+ communities and things to do. I also read a lot about things happening in places I've lived or visited.

Thanks for the information, JohnN. I will have to check out Menomonee Falls, WI; Itasca, IL; Minneapolis, MN; Scottsdale, AZ; Apache Junction, AZ; Denver, CO; Reno, NV; Palm Harbor, FL; Pleasanton, CA; Provo, UT; Belmont, CA; Burlingame, CA; and Rohnert Park, CA.

With 1421 posts on TOTV I must enjoy it here even if I probably have had more posts on Findlaw's message boards than that but that's almost 6 years worth of posting.

I looked at this other board and searched "the villages".

I'm still a TV wannabe, but I was reassured by the very positive comments there about TV.

It was good to see the same favorable sentiments there on a "neutral" board, not just on TOTV where 'most everyone seems to have drunk the Kool-Aid

I would not say that exactly. There have been some pretty spirited discussions about some aspects of the Villages' life like the dog fights over dog poo and pee, the roundabout roundabout, and the dust over what's going to happen when the developers finish the last house in TV???
