Mount Dora

Mount Dora is known for its annual Fourth of July parade and fireworks. This year, the parade is scheduled to start at 10 AM and then there will be food and live music in Gilbert Park at 5 PM, followed by fireworks at 9 PM.

Parade starts on Main & Ruby Streets at 5:00 pm. Activities at Wooton Park on Ruby Street from 3:00 pm until 9:30 pm. Live entertainment by Branch & Dean, Dance Depot, and Interactive Dance party with DJ Tony. Kid's rides, Splash Park, Game Truck, Photo Booth, Xtreme Bungee Bounce, Food Truck Round-Up, Face-painting & More. Fireworks begin at 9:00 pm The Tavares fireworks display will be available to a wider audience this year as My 790AM radio partners with the City to simulcast the event. Stating at 9pm, the opening ceremonies will include the national anthem sung a cappella, as a magnificent American flag is raised over Lake Dora. Special musical selections will accompany the lighting of the fireworks. The simulcast on My 790AM will allow listeners to join in the Tavares experience from all over Lake County just by turning on their radio.
