Default Install a headlight relay?

I have installed two 35 watt halogen fog lights on my streetrod connected to the dims on the headlights at the electrical block located under the front, close to the lights. They worked for a while until the switch burnt out. I have had the switch replaced and currently the fogs are disconnected at the block. Can "you" install a relay to the lights that operate on the current light switch? If so, at what cost? Thanks

You have reached the right conclusion to that light power issue and a relay is the answer.
You have two options, one is a relay and the cost is approx $75.00.
The other answer is to install LED type lights that give double the light and power usage less than half the power.
