Question Does anyone keep track of Marijuana munchie crimes? New crimes?

I just happened to hear about this on the radio about a month ago: Three teenagers were smoking Marijuana and got the munchies, so they decided to break into a school to look for something to eat.

Then, it seems like a few days ago, I heard about a man who broke into several restaurants looking for something to eat. He said he was hungry.
Was he later drug tested? I don't know.

This may be a trend to keep an eye on if Marijuana gets legalized.

Another thought: What new crimes will criminals concentrate on in the future if Marijuana is legalized for recreational use?

There will be some sort of age limit imposed. Possibly, it will only be legal for those 18, 20 or older. So criminals will likely shift their focus and concentrate more on the younger age group. It will be an easier sell because youngsters will be more open to it once it is legal for those over 18 or 20. So there may be large market of eager buyers.

Those who wish to ignore reality will say the following:

1. Kids were already smoking Marijuana anyway. (But they will choose to ignore the fact that marketing to kids may double or triple.)

2. Alcohol is worse. (But kids may end up using both, possibly at the same time.)

Circle K is the quick stop shop for gas stations in the area. Would be a hub of activity.
