Default New Dell problems

I have a new Dell Inspiron 15 with an core i3 processor. Plenty fast for me. My problem is the mouse pad. It is very erractic. Any way to change the sensitivity of the touch pad or would it be better to get a wireless mouse?

I have a Logitech M325 which works well on my HPs and my Acer Chromebook. Highly recommend.
