Default Where To Stay In St. Augustine?

My wife and I will be celebrating our 20th wedding anniversary and are planning to go to St Augustine. It will only be for one or two nights. We definitely want to see the Golf Hall of Fame but we are not going to play golf this time. We would also like to see the city. Does anyone have any suggestions as to a nice place to stay there. We will be going there Thursday morning. Thanks!

Casa Monica is right downtown across from Flagler College - it is very nice, but very expensive. There is a Raddison I believe downtown too, that is cheaper but not as nice.

Also, Google Bread and Breakfasts in St. Augustine, there are many good ones.

My husband and I stayed for an anniversary at the Powder House Inn---really enjoyed it. Nice porch to sit on---good breakfast. They also put out wine for guests every afternoon. Might not be able to get a reservation since you are leaving this week but you could try it. They do have a web page. Have a great time. St. Augustine is one of our favorite places. Happy Anniversary!!
