Default Anybody else see the MoTown Revue last night at the Savannah Center?

What a great time yesterday - tickets to see Mega MoTown Revue, the 5:30 show, at Savannah. OMG - it was WONDERFUL! We had 3rd row seats. Live band - 7 piece. And the performers...WOW! Randie Paul started the show with some selections, then a 3-gal group doing Supremes, Temptations, Gladys Knight. A 3-guy group doing hits from Stevie Wonder, 4 Tops, and more. Then the Michael Jackson tribute by Danny Ware.

Amazing! Simply cannot say enough about this fantastic show. We are SO fortunate to have a venue as the Savannah Center to attract talent as this. This show could have been at the Bob Carr in Orlando for 5 times the cost (our tics were $22 each).

THANK YOU to the organizers, volunteers, and the outstanding performers. A GREAT time! Please continue to produce great shows as this.

BTW - we all (6 of us neighbors) went to Glenview restaurant for a wonderful dinner. On the way out, saw the bar TV covering Robin Williams death - a sad ending to a fantastic evening though.

Went to the 830 show, wasnt a sellout.
The show was great and the audience was into it until the Michael Jackson wannabe showed up. A little weird (possibly intentional), although his dance moves were good imitations...including the crotch pulls....
I would have preferred them to continue with the original Motown sound -Temptations, Four Tops, Gladys Night, Marvin Gaye and Supremes songs.

Default Great show.....hope they have it again!

I enjoyed the whole show & was so glad we went, & will definitely go again if they come back & play Savannah Center. We also went to the 8:30 show, & I was disappointed to see empty seats for a wonderful performance. I totally enjoyed the Michael Jackson segment and would have been disappointed if they hadn't included his music.

Where can you find the Savannah schedule of events? I've heard rave reviews on several of their shows.
Glad you and P enjoyed the evening, Dean!! Sounds like a great show!!
