Intellicast - Current Radar in FL - Saint Petersburg

Not yet… It looks like the long cloud has moved a bit north of us, but there's more on the way I'm sure...

Poop, if we don't get this rain, I am going to resign my job as chicken little of The south villages.

Did to say, the greeting should have said Pooh, not poop!

My golf buddies and me didn't didn't think we had a chance to get our round in after looking at the radar, but we played with just a little drizzle. That was at 12:30. Right now at 4:45 the radar still shows a lot of rain just to our west. It seems to be stalled exactly where it was 4 hours ago.

It's not stalled, it is dissipating as it moves inland. We didn't have sun today to heat up the ground so the lifting of moisture subsides as the air mass moves over land. Lots of rain coming off the gulf ( water temp is mid 80's ) but it loses it's lifting support over the cooler land ( 78 degs today ) so it rains itself out before it gets this far inland.

Thank you Ron, I wondered why it kept pushing my way and then dissipating. We may get some rain yet.
Meanwhile, back at the ranch, with Gary Cooper.

Was hoping for a nice rain today. No such luck. Just drizzle..so had to go out and water my wilted potted plants.
