My pc is running very slow. Have used cc cleaner, malwarebytes, etc.

Default Slow PC

Had the same problem a few weeks ago. Windows 7 computer.
I found the culprit to be "Adobe Flash Player"
Probably a conflict after a windows update but not sure.
The solution for me was to uninstall Flash Player.

Uninstall Flash Player | Windows

I later reinstalled and now all is well.

Try downloading "free" Glary" software. Seems to clean up a lot of files etc.......

Default safe mode

You can try running malwarebytes in safe mode. It will find more junk that way. If you need us to take a look at it, let us know.

I have found that my PC is slow when I am accessing certain sites on the internet. When I turn on task manager I see that it is using 100% of the CPU. I also noticed that these sites are inserting videos in the download. Once these videos finally get downloadewd, CPU goes down and I can access the site.

It is almost like the old days when inserting graphics killed the download.

I wish there was a way to turn off videos on a download since I do not watch them anyway.

The problem with all the browsers, whether it’s internet explorer or Google Chrome, is that they become slow and clunky after a period of time. They take time to start up to, to load websites and to open and close tabs. This is when one should consider cleaning up the browser and getting rid of the cache, history etc.

Check this extension out if you are using Google Chrome..or clean out your cache, tracking cookies, etc.
