I hope she lives on for a long, long time, to keep telling it like it IS as she does so well, right here in this video segment:

I like Joan Rivers. At 81, she is still a smart lady with a lot of energy. I hope she recovers quickly.

Her humor may not be for everyone but She always makes me laugh but the comments I have read on a couple of the gossip sites ( I know, why am I reading those sites) ... the comments are absolutely the nastiest I have ever seen about another human being.. Honestly- people are unbelievably cruel. One actually said that they hoped her daughter got run over and killed on the way to the hospital.. The ability to post on the internet must bring out the beast in people .....yes.. beast.. not best..

The local CBS station is reporting that Joan Rivers is on life support, and her family will decide in the next few days whether to pull the plug. Very sad.

Very sad. She is a great talent. This must be so difficult for her daughter.

I don't blame her for storming out. How unprofessional. Reporter was very disrespectful to Ms. Rivers. Talk about tarnished journalism!

I hope that is good news.
The News Release I read said she is "being kept comfortable". I hope that means that she is off life support and recovering.
Fingers crossed for Joan Rivers.

You and I are old enough to know that isn't a hopeful thing to hear, Bare.

You are right GG "being kept comfortable" is not a hopeful thing to hear.
I used to think 81 was very old, but now I think it's the prime of life!

It really doesn't say if she is going to be recovering, or can lead an active life again.
