Default dermatology issue

I wanted to post a concern with the Advanced Dermatology offices in the Villages. They have an office in spanish springs and in sumter but both are under the same group. The issue is they do not share records between offices and their records are very suspect. I recently went through a kidney transplant and when i got out of the hospital had a letter waiting for me from the advanced dermatology office saying i had 2 basil cells that needed to be removed. The issue is we were at the advanced dermatology office in early July to make sure all issues with my skin were resolved prior to the transplant as i would be on anti-rejection meds after the surgery. The dermatology office does not have electronic records so the letter i received was from the sunter office but the spanish springs office where we were in early july did not have these records. My Kidney meds now will need to be adjusted to protect me due to the 2 basil cells needing to be removed. I also found out that their records show that i had Lymphoma and Colon cancer of which i have neither and never have. My point is be very careful dealing with them as they say they are working on electronic records but have been for over 2 years. I hope this helps people who need dermatology help and makes them think twice before using this office.

redsox2014, I went to him once at the recommendation of my PCP and that was all it took. Should have checked him out instead of trusting my former PCP. When the office called to schedule my 6 mo. appt., I told them not to call back. I have heard wonderful things about Dr. Hassanein and will schedule soon.

Have been to Dr. Hasasenein several times. He is a real fellowship trained MOHS dermatological surgeon. Well experienced. Very satisfied with him and his assistants.
Plan to continue using him.
