Default Optometrists - United Health Villages Plan

I did not see this question addressed in my search. There appear to be two optometry groups that are on the United Healthcare plan - 4 doctors at Laurel Manor and 5 doctors at 11834 County Rd. 101. Is anyone familiar with any of these? The doctors are Deaton, Menjivar (2), Nees, Abraham, Atkins, Avonda, Braudway, Brodsky and Clark.

If you have the UnitedHealthCare Advantage Plan...you can utilize Ocala Eye...which is excellant. I also believe you can use Mid-Florida Eye. You are not so limited with this health-care plan for your eyes. In fact you have the opportunity to have opthalmalogists and not just optometrists. I know there will be more comments made on this thread.

Just FYI, if you have Medicare with UHC supplement, Medicare pays for annual eye exams with an ophthalmologist.
