I did it again. Last night I went to the store to get milk and bread, came home with five things and not one of them was milk.
Do I need to make a list just to pick up TWO things? Really? Really? ![]() |

No. Just focus.

Yes, you will need a list for everything. A list for phone calls to be made, a list for grocery stores, bills stacked together on desk so I can remember to pay them. It's pathetic when I go to store with list in hand and still forget items. Yep, never leave home without your list.

And don't forget to READ the list when you're in the store!

There's an app for that! At least if you shop at Publix. Using the app for my list, and to "clip" coupons means never having to say "oops, I forgot"

I make up comprehensive lists and carefully divide them into sections for easier shopping. And then I forget my lists which makes me so grumpy.
![]() I don't own a cell phone so apps won't help me. I hate to forget lists, but I usually end up with about 80% of the items. So I guess that's about how much memory I have left.

There was a man, in line, in back of me a Publix. He had picked out a few items and put them on the conveyor belt. Then he suddenly realized that he forgot to bring his wallet.
![]() What if you remember to get the milk but forget where you parked your car? I never forget to buy dairy, meat, eggs, soft drinks, juice or baked goods. I'm a vegan who only eats natural whole foods. |

This is somewhat related.
For months I tried to memorize my 6 digit id number but to no avail. I told this to the starter one day and he looked at my number and said "seventy six, twenty three, twenty three". That is not my number but the pattern is the same. By seeing it as 3 two digit numbers, I had it instantly. Starter, if by chance you are reading this---thank-you very much for this memory tip. |
