Default Burglary in Fernandina ...again.

Gerry Ann started a thread about a burglary that occurred in Fernandina on Hollyhock Way on Friday between four and nine P.M.. Several thousand dollars of jewelry was stolen. How did the perps know they had a lot of jewelry??? I am guessing the residents were out. Does anyone know anything first hand? Wonder if they kicked the front door in like they did last fall and early 2014.

lol Gracie. Bet it was someone who had done some work there recently. Hope the cops catch 'em soon.

I thought this might keep 'em locked up for awhile;

Thieves caught in Fernandina this morning

And, oddly coincidental, was the robo-call I just got (around 5:00 p.m.) saying "This is not a sales call...you are eligible for a free, wireless home security system." Doubtful it was anything more than a coincidence, but weird all the same. (I live in Gilchrist, down the road a short piece from the break-in.)

I think the number of posts from a sponsor should be dictated by the quality of the posts. He will learn not to be drawn in by the virulent naysayers who are always "the smartest person in the room".
