Which is better what is your opinion or experience and why. If you have one what do you like and not like about it.

If you have a Street Rod and looking to sell it let me know

Thanks for your input.

We bought a Yesteryear 4 seater which I think is modeled to look like a 1934 Ford truck. When we bought the cart in 2007 we knew that it was built on a refurbished 2004 cart frame and motor. So what we bought was a gas refurbished frame with a kit body. Given that, Yesteryear has since been absorbed by the Village Golf cart shop and some things may have changed. Do not know if Street rods are built on refurbished cart parts.

We have enjoyed the cart and are about to replace the enclosure "Sunbrella", not because it is needed but because it is wanted.

Issues
Love the cart but hate the side curtains. Hard to put on and not protective without the doors on.

Tight inside quarters.

No good hand grabs without the doors on but did come with seat belts, which we now use after looking at accident reports re golf carts in TV.

In summary, I think that you would probably pay about $18K for a new Yesteryear which if like the past is likely built on a refurbished frame and motor with new tires, batteries, brakes etc. I would guess that might be a $10K premium over a normal new golf cart.

So after 7 years the $10K body portion is still the same.

My take is that if were to do it over, I would not pay that premium.

You need to drive both, then you will never look at the Yesteryear again. Streetrods drive like a sports car. They are built ground up new. Go by and see Debbie. Tell her Nelson sent you. You won't be sorry.
p.s. The price of the Streetrod includes taxes!

Streetrods are built from the ground up in a factory and delivered in their own trailers.

Call Debbie @ 352-751-3953. She has great new carts and she will also know if any used ones are for sale.
