Default Need some suggestions in Tampa

I will be in a Tampa next week and I wonder if anyone knows a nice golf course in the area, and a good party boat to go out fishing. Any help would be much appreciated.

As stated above World Woods is a great layout. Also you might consider Lake Jovita which is located a short drive off of I-75 on the way to Tampa. They do run some specials. Both courses are very nice and enjoyable to play.

Default Fishing prospects are poor.

Came late to the thread.

Sad to report that there appears to be a massive red tide bloom in the Gulf of Mexico in the Tampa Bay area, extending out as far as forty miles. This ruins the salt water fishing prospects in the area. You might make some phone calls to see if any party boats are going out, but I doubt it.

Red tide not only kills the fish, but also is very hazardous to anyone with lung problems. It is to be avoided.

I don't golf so don't know what features are required to be considered a "good" golf course.
