Question The outcome of conservative economics (A non-political discussion)

Have you ever noticed how conservatism in economics often leads, inadvertently, to more socialism? I'm just wondering if I'm the only one who sees it that way.

I'm curious.
Would love to see a little more explanation to your theory.

Okay, one example: The public school system was created to serve the needs of industry.

Hi, kitty. That's okay, I may be lost myself. I'm just trying out a new theory that came to mind yesterday.

Even your example makes no sense! What are you really trying to get across?

You are correct. It isn't political. It is economics. So, I'm going to participate in a discussion about economics. Have you ever read, 'I, Pencil'? Read, I, Pencil | Library of Economics and Liberty

I wonder if the o.p. means just "conservative" as in being careful not to spend more than you have coming in

or "capitalist" as in "free markets" with "property owning rights", as opposed to state-owned production in socialism.

Hmmmm!!! Could it be the subject turn into, the benefits of being a vegan?

Sorry, you lost me with no reference on what, you are trying to ask?

You need to expound more on why economic conservatism turns to socialism in your thought process.

Now that story, bk is fascinating. It went a long way to get to its main point (at least that's how I see it), that point being: Leave all creative energies uninhibited. Merely organize society to act in harmony with this lesson. Let society's legal apparatus remove all obstacles the best it can. Permit these creative know-hows freely to flow. Have faith that free men and women will respond to the Invisible Hand. This faith will be confirmed. I, Pencil, seemingly simple though I am, offer the miracle of my creation as testimony that this is a practical faith, as practical as the sun, the rain, a cedar tree, the good earth.

Reminds me of my oft quoted self-point of, "How can 545 people in Washington hope to compete with the genius of 113,000,000?"

Love the story. Love the point.

Nonsense is nonsense and cannot be logically analyzed.
