Kip Tindell, the company's CEO and founder - his rule is "1=3" one great employee equals 3 only good employees --Kip Tindell, the company's CEO and founder, says this rule allows him to pay his retail employees an average salary of nearly $50,000 a year -- At Costco, hourly workers make an average of more than $20 an hour - according to businessweek -- I would think the powers to be would actively seek a business who would pay a fair pay for the employees

Nitehawk, you are a far better person than I am. I want a Costco because I love shopping at Costco.

Title should be changed from "NEED" to "WANT". There are already plenty of options to shop around, or near, The Villages.

I love their house brand merchandise. I have two Kirkland cashmere sweaters that look and wash better than ones I have bought for twice the price. May not need them here much, though.

Then, tell Costco. If the CEO of the company thinks being here will be a viable and profitable option, I'm sure they'll open a store nearby.

If Costco moved here The Villages might lose some of their minimum wage earners they hire. Oh I forgot we have good paying jobs here.

a Costco in the villages would be akin to a free restaurant for the peddlers along 441.

Costco is an ideal one stop shop store. Would never think about Sam's if one were here.

Maybe for anyone that never needed or wanted a Sam's or a Costco's, we might need more information as to why we would want or need either of these places.
They seem like a Wal-Mart to me. Can you enlighten us? Z |
