Default Inground Sprinker problem

Unfortunately I just passed my one year anniversary and I'm having problems with the inground sprinkler system. It seems it runs the full course of zones and then begins again. This is not good because the water bill is going to be high. Sometimes I'm out and the zone starts and it supposed to last 1:07 hours for it to complete. I get home two hours later and it's on zone 2.
I had someone look at it and he said that it looks fine but, unless he stays for the zones to complete he will not see the problem. Who should I call for a problem like this and has anyone experienced this before ?
All comments are appreciated.

Did you try calling the company who did the instillation? If I am not mistaken , it should be listed on the control box. If not call the warrenty dept, they will have the name.

Had that same problem...ended up "zerozing" the computer box sprinkler controller and put all the settings back in. that solved the problem for me.

You may have more than one program with days to water selected.

Thanks, but we've never had a problem before this just started about one month ago so I think it was installed correctly. Also called Property and it was installed by Earthscapes they no longer are working for The Villages

It's worth a try. We will see if that works. Thanks.

I recommend you call Jim Baumgartner (352-504-2317). He is very knowledgeable, reasonably priced, and reliable. He lives in The Villages. If you search TOTV, you will see that many have recommended him for any sprinkler issues.

Default Sprinkler Issues

If you are going to"Reboot" the system be sure to remove the battery(for a short time) as well as unplugging the timer unit.If you do not the unit will retain its memory and you will be right back where you started.

Encountered a similar problem and nothing seemed to stop the "A' program from running multiple cycles on the selected days set to run.

Finally set the run times to 0 on the A program and programed the "B" ...... it cured the problem.

I too would recommend you call Jim Baumgartner. He is the very best. His number is 352-504-2317. In fact, he will be out to my place this afternoon.

Double check your warranty, some components are good for 2 years.
