There seems to be constant negative comments and opinions regarding technology, especially social media. No question the internet with it's global infrustructure presents powerful, new opportunities for those who prey on others.

However it also brings even greater opportunities to bring strangers together in a very personal way, to share a common goal without ever communicating directly to one another.

For me, there is no doubt the internet will become the single source of positive impact driving upcoming generations. It doesn't take a very big leap to think how the concept behind the video (linked below), with the click of a mouse, can bring together the known and unknown talents in the world to tackle the toughest issues we are facing.

If you enjoy listening to or singing in choirs and have 15 minutes to spare, watch this video of a TED presentation from 2011. There are other versions out there on YouTube, but this presentation puts it all into perspective. Even if you do not normally listen to choral music give this one a try. Stay with it, I believe this production will leave you moved and feeling good about our long term relationship with personal technology.
