Default SunPass

I have Sun Pass responders on two cars. Have automatic refresh dollars setup. Got message at booth that I had low balance. Checked when I got home and found that my credit card set up to refresh was deleted. What happened? My card was good until Dec 2014. Received new card with new number from same company saying that the old card may have been compromised by Target. Instructions said new card valid when activated, and old card was still valid. But not after new card activated. Just a caution for other accounts you may have set up for automatic payment.

I have had my card replaced 3 times in the last 12 months or so (Target, Home Depot, and a previous set of fraudulent charges). In each case when I was sent the new card I was told the "old" number would remain active for direct bill accounts for 1-2months and that I needed to contact these accounts and give them the new account number.
I have been gradually eliminating the number of these accounts due to the high level of hacking of these accounts.
It gets to be a pain to go and change all of these accounts.
