87% of Americans disapprove of Congress. If you don't vote today, you are not part of the problem-you are the problem. VOTE!

the current projection is that less than 50% of REGISTERED will vote today!!!!

There should be a limit to voter eligibilty...something like if you miss one you have to come in and renew. If you miss three you are removed from the ledgers and have to re-register from scratch (which based on current trends wouldn't take much of anything).

How about an incremental increase in federal taxes for not voting.

Something is needed to inspire or incent the other half of eligible Wmericans to get off the sofa and get out and make a difference!!

Pay a fine for not voting.

Having to come in and re-register for not voting x number of times would be a good way to authenticate current voter registrations on file.

Then tax anyone $3 when they say they are "disenfranchised" because they can't afford a state ID card (which most states have made free) but they did have money to afford the cigarettes and phone they have in hand.

(But then, that would not work in states that refuse to require photo ID at the polls.)

I voted about a week ago...in light of the recent voter id laws enacted I have to laugh. You guys are bucking a trend.
