Default What would be your " fantasy job " even for a day ?

I am sure that we all have one or two jobs that we always felt would be fun if for evan a single day . I will try to start things off with mine :

1] Zamboni Driver for an NHL Team .

2] Engineer for the Disney Steam Powered Train .

3] Sanitation Truck Worker who gets to hang off the back of the truck and toss the bags into the compacter .

My brother worked his way up over 38 years and retired as a senior exec at UPS . He started by loading trucks at 4AM when he was in College . His fantasy was to operate large watercraft .
As soon as he retired he went to a special school to get licensed as a Tour Boat Captain / Pilot. He worked for several summers piloting Tour Boats in the Thousand Islands of Upstate NY . His wife who retired the same year ran the ticket office and his two college age children MC`d the Tours .

After I retired from a great career, I saw an ad in The Washington Post asking for volunteers at the National Zoo in Washington, DC. I got accepted and did considerable classroom training for the subject of Invertabrates(creatures without backbones).

I got to do tour guiding at the Invertabrate House and to do various live demonstrations with different critters. My absolute favorite was the Pacific Octopus. She (Caroline)was about 55 pounds and had an armspan of around 8 feet. The feeding demonstration was with shrimp on a long feeding stick and it was so neat to see her grab the shrimp.

Definitely a great volunteer job.

For one day? Supreme Court Justice with several items of my choosing hanging in the balance of my vote.

Or taking close-ups of George Clooney.

I would get a lot accomplished either way.

I would like to be a member of a SWAT team and have a number of dangerous assignments.

Or be a photographer taking nude pictures of George Clooney.
Thanks for the idea Wandatime.

If Hugh Hefner needed somebody to take over for him while he took some time off I would definitely go for it!

To be a long distance trucker. Have no idea why but I always wanted to do that.

Would love to pilot Air Force One.

Albert Einstein 's assistant so I could marvel at his brain and ask him about his theories.
