Default Comcast - just lost internet

My Comcast internet dropped half an hour ago (De La Vista) but I still have Comcast TV

Anyone else having problems?

(assuming you can access internet another way)

Thanks

that happens to me occasionally. I call the number for comcast and they will resend the signal to the modem which usually corrects it. it's annoying.

This happens to me occasionally. If I reboot my computer it comes back. Hope it works for you.

Comcast told me it was becuase our modem was outdated. Needed 6-series something; had 5. Lost internet several times until I finally bit the bullet and installed 6 series. Now working faster than ever and seems stable.

the 5 series modem was only 2 y/o. They "sent the signal" and it came up a couple of times using the old modem, but it would fail a few days later.

BTW, we BOUGHT the new modem. They'll be happy to RENT you one. Hmmm.

Thank you, everyone

It came back briefly but has gone again, so I'll call Comcast and see if they can reset it

(It's not my computer as Mrs Fox can't connect her tablet either)

It may not be your computer, but it could be your router or modem. Try unplugging the modem for about 15 - 20 seconds and plugging it back in. Same with the router, if you have one.
