Default New Park

My wife has heard about a new park that is going to open or has opened . She thought it had playground equipment and paths. She also thought it was on the east side. When the Grandkids visit we have to take them to Leesburg .

There is a park with playground equipment across the street from Sonny's in Lake Sumter Landing. It has been there for several years.

Perhaps your wife is thinking of this project:
The landscape and recreation improvements to Area B of Paradise Park are under way! We anticipate it will be open for your enjoyment in January 2015. Improvements to this beautiful park include new walking paths, outdoor fitness equipment, enhanced landscaping and parking for both vehicles and golf carts. For your safety, please refrain from entering the work zone during construction. Please click on the header of this announcement for a map of the area. If you have any questions, please contact the Purchasing Department at (352) 751-6700
Village Community Development Districts

This park is on the historic side; and does not include playground equipment for children.
Is there not a play area by the boardwalk @ lake sumter landing?
