Default Camino de Santiago

Have any of you gone on the Camino de Santiago? If so, can you offer any advice on how to prepare, what to bring, how much it cost?

I have not made this pilgrimage but have probably read about 20 books on it. If you have not seen the movie The Way featuring Martin Sheen, it is a wonderful movie that provides good visuals of what walking The Camino entails.

I walked in to watch this movie just for the heck of it while visiting in New York City a couple of years ago and was quite surprised. Really good movie.

Yes, I've seen it. Good movie. It was this movie that really motivated me to make the pilgrimage.

I forget where the trek begins but you should be able to find the information you are looking for on the web.
