Default moves within TV

I noticed on a recent circular that I received from TV that half the houses sold last month were to villagers. When folks move within TV why are they moving? Are the going up in size, down in size?

Apparently the average TVer moves 3 times. I can't explain the reason. I'm happy after 3 years with my first home.

Up in size.
Down in size.
Better view.
Flipping to earn a profit.
New neighbors.
Closer to relatives.
All the usual reasons...............

I think that stated average of moving 3 times is a bunch of balooey... some kind of hyped up marketing tool. I've been here 13 years and my neighborhood has barely changed. Sure, I know a few people who have moved once or twice, but the vast, vast, vast majority of people and neighborhoods I am aware of are still in their original homes. IMHO

Illness, divorce, losing a husband, unfriendly neighbors, remarrying, wanting a fenced yard, wanting a larger garage, lack of privacy, too noisy, etc. Some people move to TV and find they prefer a different neighborhood.
We've lived in TV since 2007. We moved from a CYV to a larger house in 2010.
I have one friend that moved to TV in 2007 and has already moved three times.
It's not unusual to move to TV, start an activity, e.g., baseball, and want to move closer to the fields.
There are myriad reasons for moving, same as most communities.

We're planning on looking for a starter home when we come down from Jan - March. In a few years we will downsize our home in Iowa and upgrade our home in The Villages.

Like I'm sure many do, I plan to initially lease before making a permanent decision to buy. That's 2 moves right there.
