I have just obtained United Health Care Insurance from The Villages and I am looking for a good doctor that accepts this plan. Any Suggestions?

Can you tell us more about your United Health Care Insurance policy from The Villages? I did not know that The Villages owned an insurance agency which sold health insurance.

The Villages sells a group policy called Golden Rule Insurance Company. I went to the insurance office at 1040 Lake Sumter Landing, and received quotes from the United Health Plan. It was quite affordable.

While United Healthcare did cover the claims I had for cancer (eventually),
they sure did screw up a lot of stuff and often, their service is horrible, just fyi

I have UHC through work and I have been pleased with their coverage. Without divulging any personal data, they covered a $30K operation without an issue. I hope my next insurer is as good, as I'd had some negative experiences with 2 others.

The agent I went to see was Tangee Zutlas 751-6720 - I decided on the most popular plan which is a 2,500.00 deductable insurance - I am under 65 and still needed medical insurance as you can only cobra for 18 months.

I am still trying to find a very good doctor that accepts United Health - Any suggestions?

Go on line to to the insurance carrier and access their provider directory. It will give you a listing of all the providers within a specified zip code and miles from there that you specify. there are many providers in the area that are with United Healthcare

I have found a couple doctors on line that will take United Health Insurance.

Nalini Yelamanchi, Evalle Winston, Robert Meade, Larry Foster, and Michael Kerkes - Does anyone have any recommendations or comments about any of the above doctors.

BCBS of Florida has different major medical plans. Wayne Tutt, located in Lady Lake is one of the local representatives. To the best of my knowledge, every doctor and hospital accepts BCBS.

You can search for specific doctors in The Villages. We have been satisfied with UHC and haven't had difficulty finding doctors. Good Luck.
