Default Any college-age residents living with parents?

Greetings all... we just moved from PA to TV, and our 19 year-old daughter will be living here and starting local college in the fall. Till school starts, she basically will be friendless, so I thought I'd find out if there are any other young adults living here in the same situation.

We are in one of the newer villages, and she's been trying to be visible to others by walking the dog, swimming at the family pools, and down to LS, but so far, no luck.

Feel free to answer on the boards, or if you'd like, PM me.

Hi-we are selling our house andmoving to TV soon (i Hope) have a19 year old son - goes to school in Oklahoma but hopefully will be with us on vacations. I have made his college friends promise they will come and visit on spring break and Christmas - they are psyched to come to Florida. We'll have to hook all the kids up on school breaks - they'll have a blast

My daughter (now 21) was living with me when I first moved here. She's since moved to her own apartment. A lot of younger people work as servers. Most are local kids, some going to college, some not. She could probably get a part-time job and make friends that way.
