Default Proposed Boundary Expansion of VCDD No.4

Representatives from The Villages of Lake-Sumter, Inc. and the law firm of McLin Burnsed presented a proposed boundary expansion of VCDD No. 4 to the Board of Supervisors. The proposal included the addition of 64.27 acres and 300 residences. ^ The benefits presented included no additional expense to the existing residents for the issuance of bonds, economy of scale for the operational costs of the VCDD No. 4, two additional Neighborhood Recreation Centers and the reimbursement of all administrative and legal expenses associated with the expansion.

The VCDD No. 4 has scheduled a workshop with representatives from The Villages of Lake-Sumter, Inc. to further review and discuss the proposal. Resident attendance is welcomed and encouraged.

The meeting will take place at 1:00 p.m. on April 7, 2015 in the Mulberry Grove Regional Recreation Center.
