Default Where can my wife get new grips and clubs extened?

My wife has decided to take up golf (I can not carry enough insurance for me to golf!!), and she was told some of her clubs are too short, and also may need new grips. What is a good place to go, at reasonable cost?
Thank for your help.

If the clubs are too short, your wife would be better off to buy a different set of clubs. I'm afraid trying to "extend" them would not work. I would go to Sarasota or Arnold Palmers to be measured---sometimes they have a good used set of ladies clubs that could be just what she needs. Golf is difficult enough without playing with a set of clubs that don't fit.

After getting a set of clubs that fit, buy her a set of lessons. Trust me, if she is serious about golf, it's absolutely the best way to learn.

She was going to get new shafts, not extensions, I was told this was les expensive than new clubs and she wants to keep these clubs.

Birdies golf shop in Santa Fe Plaza on 466. Experienced owner who can put on both new shafts and grips for a reasonable price.

How much longer do they need to be? The maximum our store will extend is 2", any longer and the risk of breaking the club at that joint increases; I've lengthened hundreds of shafts and (knock on wood), to my knowledge, none have snapped yet. A lot less expensive than new shafts.

Thanks to all, she had her putter extended (1 inch), and new grips on all of the clubs, and is very happy.

Jim's is across the street from Home Depot in front of Target, next to Jersey Mike's Subs. I had new grips put on about six months ago at Jim's, about $30 cheaper than I had previously paid at Sarasota Pro Shop. I had a sub next door and they called on my cellphone to inform me they were ready before I had even finished eating.
