Default To the golfer on #5 tee on Southern Star today...

...whose errant tee shot bounced across the grass, into the street, hit my car as we passed by, then bounced back in bounds...

You're welcome....I hope you made par...

That's why you don't see everyone lined up down the TeeBox watching us Tee Off. Welcome to The Villages.

Did you stop and ask the group? Errant golf shots do happen on a golf course. I am sure nobody was trying to hit your car----he/she may not even known it.

Maybe the best thing to do is just move on and be happy nobody was hurt.

Bank shots are the most difficult - especially off a moving vehicle.

I may be wrong, but I didn't think the OP was upset about anything.

Yep.
Just pointing out one of many ways to get to the green.
Thanks for the up-vote.

I've only had 3 birdies. One involved a real bird - in flight. Thankfully it just got some sense knocked into itself - why fly over a golf course!

Cajoled into playing golf in a vendor day function, my husband/non golfer sadly hit and killed a goose. The groundskeeper was quite ticked. "It's not like I'm good enough to do that on purpose," my husband told him, and gladly took over beer cart duty the next year.

Did your spell check auto correct? I assume you typed tickled. Many grounds keepers I know would pay your husband to come back and ride with their goose chasing dog

Let me put it another way. This groundskeeper was pi$$ed! The year was 1980. Perhaps geese were fewer in number then and more revered.
